The last start, takeoff, and flight of the Zeppelin Hindenburg LZ 129 from Frankfurt am Main to Lakehurst/New Jersey USA.
This photo was shot in 1937 and reproduced on 09.09.1986. So it came into the possession of my grandfather. Of course I know who gave him the pictures, but I will not give information about the source. For the husband is 90 years old, very ill, and a very nice man.

Diese Foto wurde 1937 geschossen und am 09.09.1986 vervielfältigt. So kam es in den Besitz meines Opas. Ich weiss natürlich wer ihm die Bilder geschenkt hat, doch werde ich nicht über die Quelle Auskunft geben. Denn der Mann ist 90 Jahre alt, sehr krank, und ein ganz lieber Mensch.
