Royan - Fascinating city on the Gironde and french atlantic coast
Royan is a west French coastal town on the Gironde estuary (estuary) in the Atlantic. A splendid city in an environment with interesting historical and modern sights.
As early as the beginning of the twentieth century, the French pearl was developed for the emergence of tourism and is characterized by the multi-faceted coastal landscape on the Atlantic and its friendly, lifelike inhabitants.
The photos from the time before the German occupation never let a near-second World War begin.
The impressive work of a grandiose photographer from Bordeaux shows the charming beauty of a splendid French coastal town with its sights connected with the ease of being the French way of life.

History of the photo album:
My grandfather as a twenty-two year old german soldier was stationed in France in the end of Second World War. There he met a french girl and they felt in love. She gave him this little photo album to say goodbye when his troops were moved back to defend germany. Even after war they tried to hold their friendship by writing love letters. But my grandmother found a letter at some point, and so there was a middle-heavy family crash. All wedding photos were turned over for months. My grandpa married my grandma right after the war. This is pure life. He wanted to keep something from his French love, and Grandma naturally fought against it. So he had to break off the contact with his French love, especially since my mother was born in 1947. Meanwhile the grandparents both died in 2001 and 2013, so I can allow myself to tell this family anecdote. It shows life as it is.
Here is the amazing french souvenir album which was made during war and shows how people keep on living a normal as possible life.
