The most ultimate telescope in Germany operated by the Astronomy Foundation Trebur.
Still, the "Michael Adrian Observatory" in Trebur in Hesse has the "The largest, private, publicly accessible optical telescope in Germany" with the "T1T", even in the whole of Europe.
Although there is technically still larger telescopes, such as the "Alfred Jensch telescope" of „Karl Schwarzschild Observatory“ in Tautenburg at Jena in Thuringia.
The "Observatory Trebur" owns the largest private, publicly accessible telescope in Germany.
Every Wednesday, visitors, adults and children, take a guided tour and look through the telescope, if weather conditions allow it.
On the eve of May 1st holiday in 2014, a guide and a visitors' lecture was organized despite this unfavorable date, while most people dancing that night, this feast is called dance into May. For interested astronomers, stargazers, fans of the universe and cosmic enthusiasts, know neither sleep nor holiday.
An enthusiastic fan and supporter of the universe, the stars, white dwarfs, neutron stars, solar stars, red giants, planets, moons, pulsars, black holes, interstellar objects, galaxies, matter, dark matter, antimatter, dark fluid, asteroids, comets, exoplanets, also extrasolar called planets, and all the phenomena in the universe opens the heart.
Not at least because of the competent lectures the volunteers of the "Astronomical Foundation Trebur" that could collect some groundbreaking discoveries and theories in the field of astronomy already and are mostly home professionally at the surrounding universities of the Rhein-Main area such as Mainz, Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mannheim, or as specialized experts who deal a lifetime with astronomy.
Our Milky Way is a fascinating example of creation. Given the nature gave itself an impressive spectacle: When we after the lecture were then the top of the telescope, as twitched tremendous flashes an approaching storm through the night of April 30, 2014 against 22.15 o'clock (Current summer time UTC / GMT + 2 Hours - Normal time UTC / GMT + 1 Hour - CEST).
A night of nights. A spectacle of the fragile nature, coupled with the huge high technology of the Trebur telescope - Thanks Michael Adrian for this foundation. Master of the Young and Old.
Just lovely!
